I have been trying to sleep but the Holy Spirit withheld my sleep because he really want me to post something before sleeping. So now I finally give in so that I can sleep ****smiles****.
I will start with a short story
The villages are in absolute silence as most of the villagers are at their various farms tilling the soil, getting prepared for the rainy season. ‘The weather is really favorable today’ papa methu said facing his best friend 3in1 as he was popularly called. They both resumed their walk and stroll as usual.. The sight seeing was one thing that made their walk interesting. People envy them because of their close and good companionship. After the days strolling they both bid themselves bye and go diverse ways to their respective homes.
On this fateful day, as usual papa Methu and 3in1 set out for their their walks. They moved deeper, deeper into the forest and soaring to different villages talking and chatting with each other. Suddenly 3in1 checked his wrist watch and told Papa Methu that it was late to go home. He should for once stay in his place to sleep for the night. So that tomorrow he can get energy to go back home. Papa Methu agreed to 3in1’s suggestion and went to his house. Now I want to tell you that Papa Methu never came out of their when he realised how beautiful that place was. This is the story of Enoch(methuselah’s Father) and God(3in1 or trinity).
Genesis 5vs21-24 “………………….and Enoch walked with God”.
QUESTION TO PONDER ON
How far have you walked with God?
Enoch walked with God, not just walk but God was his companion. Something captivating about this Enoch guy is that his life was summarised in 4 verses. We ought to get to level as christians that we don’t need to pray for ourselves but interceed for others and the prayers will be answered. When you walk with God intimately you will become like him because you will be fully immersed in him so therefore replicating God’s actions. So I urge you to build yourself up to a flight level not a ground level. Enough of ground level intimacy. You need to fly and soar higher in his grace through your walk with him. “………… And Enoch walked with and he did not see death for God took him”.
